Dutch-Ghanaian defender Leeroy Owusu played a crucial role in Odense BK’s dominant 5-1 victory against FC Roskilde in the Danish 1st Division.
Completing the full 90 minutes, Owusu contributed two vital assists that helped secure the win in Round 13. Odense BK opened the scoring in the 12th minute when Owusu set up Max Ejdum, who calmly finished to give his side the early lead. Don Deedson Louicius doubled the advantage before halftime, as Odense maintained control with 62% possession.
Although Roskilde managed to pull one back through Roni Arabaci in the 80th minute, Odense quickly responded with an own goal by Oliver Skolnik just four minutes later. Owusu then provided his second assist in the 89th minute, delivering a perfect pass to Nikolaj Juul-Sandberg, cementing the comprehensive victory.
This season, Leeroy Owusu has recorded six assists and one goal, showcasing his significant impact on the team as Odense BK prepares to face Esbjerg fB on October 26th.
