Maxwell Konadu, the head coach of Legon Cities FC, has responded to the team’s elimination from this season’s MTN FA Cup competition. The Royals faced Dreams FC in the quarter-finals of the tournament on Friday.

After a tough match, Legon Cities FC were defeated 1-0 and knocked out of the domestic cup competition. In his post-match interview, Coach Konadu stated that his team would now concentrate all their efforts on the Ghana Premier League.

He emphasized that their main objective was to avoid relegation at the end of the Premier League season.

Coach Konadu expressed his pride in the team’s performance, stating that they played with passion and commitment until the very end. He added that their focus was now on giving their all in the league to survive.

“Was a good game by all standards. We kept pushing and pushing till the end. The boys played their hearts out today and I am proud of them. We have one thing on our mind to go all out in the league and survive,” Coach Maxwell Konadu said.
