Legon Cities FC goalkeeper William Essu is ailing and deteriorating due to lack of finances, Sportsworldghana.com understands.
According to our sources, the former Ghana youth goalkeeper is owed by the Ghana Premier League side Legon Cities FC in salaries and bonuses.
He is also owed by the Ghana government after unpaid monies after playing for the various national youth teams.
His iissue comes up after his former colleague, Sylvester Sackey, who formerly passed away on Tuesday evening after a short illness.
According to sources, Sylvester Sackey was also owed by the club and was neglected after taking ill and was waiting to be paid to use the money for his treatment.
Essu, is also seriously ill and according to our sources has been snubbed by the club as his situation worsens.
