English Championship side Leicester City have placed a €45 million price tag on Ghana international Abdul Fatawu Issahaku amid mounting interest from Premier League clubs.

The 21-year-old winger has become one of Leicester’s prized assets following his standout performances since joining permanently from Sporting Lisbon in 2023. His direct dribbling, pace, and eye for goal have made him a target for top-flight clubs, with Everton and Sunderland among the sides chasing his signature.

Reports indicate that Sunderland recently tabled a €32 million bid, but the Foxes swiftly rejected the offer, insisting that Issahaku will only leave if their €45 million valuation is met.

Despite being relegated to the Championship last season, Leicester are determined to hold onto the Ghanaian star, who has already made two appearances in the ongoing 2025/26 campaign.

Since arriving in England, Issahaku has amassed 57 appearances across all competitions, scoring seven goals and contributing significantly to Leicester’s attack. His rapid rise at club level has also been reflected on the international stage, where he has earned 24 caps for the Black Stars.

Leicester remain firm in their stance that Issahaku will not be allowed to leave cheaply, making him one of the most sought-after young African talents in European football.
