Libyan side Almoroj SC has secured the signing of experienced Ghanaian striker John Antwi on a permanent deal.
Antwi, who previously played for Dreams FC in the Ghana Premier League, joins Almoroj SC after his contract with the Ghanaian club expired.
Antwi, well-known for his goal-scoring prowess, brings a wealth of experience to the Libyan outfit, having spent much of his career excelling in various African leagues. The former Pyramids FC and Al Ahly forward is considered one of the top strikers of his generation on the continent, with a reputation built on consistent performances across several clubs.
Antwi first gained prominence during his time at Ismaily SC in Egypt, where he became the league’s top scorer. His success continued at major clubs like Al Ahly and Al Shabab, further establishing him as a reliable and prolific striker.
Last season, Antwi was a standout player for Dreams FC, helping them reach the semifinals of the CAF Confederation Cup. His move to Almoroj SC marks a new chapter in his illustrious career, where he aims to continue his legacy as a top striker and contribute to his new club’s success.
