Reports indicate that Hearts of Oak midfielder Salifu Ibrahim is attracting interest from Libyan club Al Ta’awon.
The former Eleven Wonders standout has been in exceptional form in the Ghana Premier League, earning four man of the match awards.
Al Ta’awon, keen to strengthen their squad, has identified Ibrahim as a key target to bolster their midfield. With only three months left on his contract at Hearts of Oak, Ibrahim’s future at the club hangs in the balance pending contract negotiations.
The Libyan club is prepared to offer Ibrahim a lucrative deal, including a monthly salary of $7,000 and a signing-on fee reportedly totaling $60,000. Under new coach Aboubakar Ouattara, Ibrahim has been a pivotal player for Hearts of Oak, delivering standout performances in the league’s second half.
His recent display against Nsoatreman FC earned him yet another man of the match accolade, showcasing his importance to the team.
Since joining Hearts of Oak in February 2021, Ibrahim played a significant role in the club’s Ghana Premier League triumph that season.
In the current campaign, Ibrahim has contributed with one goal and eight assists in 19 appearances, further highlighting his value on the pitch.
