Ghanaian midfielder Majeed Ashimeru featured for Anderlecht as they posted a 4-1 win against Daniel Opare’s Zulte Waregem in the Belgian Pro League on Sunday evening.
The Ghanaian international was handed a starting role by Vincent Kompany but was replaced by Francis Amuzu after 70 minutes of action.
Jelle Vossen shot visitors Zulte Waregem ahead after just five minutes into the game but his lead was canceled by Anouar Ait El Hadj in the 32nd-minute mark.

After 45+2, Michael Murillo scored to give Anderlecht a 2 – 1 lead at the Lotto Park.
Back from the break, Yari Verschaeren and Abdoulay Diaby scored one each in the 54th and 89th minutes respectively as the hosts recorded a commanding 4-1 win against Zulte Waregem.
Meanwhile, his compatriot Daniel Opare started for Zulte Waregem and played full 90 minutes.
Ashimeru joined RSC Anderlecht on loan from Red Bull Salzburg during the winter transfer window and could be handed a permanent deal when he impresses the technical handlers of the club at the end of his loan deal.
