Hearts of Oak SC first choice goalkeeper Richard Attah have returned to training after the exit of Ghana’s Black Stars from the Africa Cup of Nations tournament in Cameroon.
The bulky goalkeeper did not have a chance to be in goal for Ghana in any of the three matches at the group stage.
He was a substitute in Ghana’s games against Morocco and Gabon which ended in defeats for the four-time AFCON champions.
Following Ghana’s exit from the competition at the group stage for the first time in the competition since 2006, the goalie has returned to his club.
Attah resumed training on Tuesday, January 25th as his side prepare for the Ghana Premier League week 15 clash with King Faisal FC at the Accra Sports Stadium on Sunday.
Before he traveled with the Ghana team to the tournament in Cameroon, Attah was the first choice goalkeeper for the club but could be thrown out to the bench after a consistent performance from his deputy Richmond Ayi.
