Mamelodi Sundowns Ladies vs ASFAR

It doesn’t get much better than kicking off the semi-finals of a prestigious club competition with a repeat of last year’s finals.

ASFAR eviscerated Mamelodi Sundowns 4-0 at the Prince Moulay Abdellah Stadium in Rabat, yeah, 4-0 was the final score with a hattrick from Ibtissam Jraidi after Fatima Tagnout had put the Moroccans ahead in the 15th minute via penalty kick albeit Mamelodi Sundowns finished the game with 9 women- that is the story of the finals last year

ASFAR on the other hand bounced back to winning ways after losing their first game 2-1 against Ghana’s Ampem Darkoa Ladies with victories over Huracanes and AS Mande. The defending champions,  The leader, are ready to defend their title and will eye another victory over the perfect Brazillians.

ASFAR is a powerhouse in African football as they have made it to the semi-finals on three consecutive occasions.

They are undefeated against the Bayana Ba Style.

Expect an evening of fireworks between these two pacesetters of African women’s football.
