Manchester United are showing strong interest in Ghana forward Antoine Semenyo, with a possible big-money move expected when the January transfer window opens.

The 25-year-old Bournemouth attacker has caught the attention of the Old Trafford club following his impressive performance in Monday’s thrilling 4-4 Premier League draw against United. Semenyo once again stood out, continuing his fine run of form this season.

Semenyo has been one of Bournemouth’s key players, scoring seven goals and providing three assists in 15 league matches. His pace, strength and ability to play across different attacking roles have made him an attractive option for top clubs.

Reports suggest Manchester United are planning changes to their squad and are closely studying attacking options ahead of the winter transfer window. Semenyo fits the profile United are looking for as they aim to add energy and versatility to their frontline.

However, United are not alone in the chase. Other Premier League giants are also keeping a close watch on the Ghana international, with interest expected to grow as January draws nearer.

Transfer analyst Ben Jacobs confirmed that United’s interest remains serious, but competition is increasing.

“Manchester United’s interest in Antoine Semenyo is active,” Jacobs revealed. “But clubs like Manchester City, Liverpool and Tottenham are also monitoring the situation. Semenyo is relaxed about his future and waiting to see who is ready to meet his release clause.”

Semenyo has a £65 million release clause in his Bournemouth contract, which is available in January and is expected to reduce slightly in the summer.

Recent betting odds suggest Manchester United currently have a 20 percent chance of completing the signing during the January window.

The forward has also impressed United manager Ruben Amorim, having scored in all three matches against United since the coach took charge. His ability to press, counter quickly and play with intensity fits Amorim’s style of football.

Despite the growing interest, Bournemouth are aware of Semenyo’s value and understand how important he is to their attacking setup. Replacing him midway through the season would be difficult, but the club has long expected interest in their top performers.
