Manchester United are battling Real Madrid for the signature of Dutch defender of Ghanaian parentage Jeremie Frimpong.
The 21-year-old right-back has been in good form for Bayern Leverkusen in the German Bundesliga this season netting two goals and providing two assists in thirteen games.
According to reports in Spain, Real Madrid are bent on signing him in January whereas Manchester United are also ready to swoop for him in an effort to solve their right-back problem.
United are said to have asked Jadon Sancho who is a friend of Frimpong as they played together in the Manchester City Academy to talk to him first.
Erik Ten Hag has lost interest in Wan Bissaka and doesn’t believe much in the qualities of Diego Dalot making him to eye a move for the 40 Million Euros rated Frimpong.
