Manchester United youngster Kobbie Mainoo named FA Cup Player of the Season

Kobbie Mainoo, the England midfielder of Ghanaian descent, has been named the FA Cup Player of the Season.

The talented youngster shone in the 2023/24 domestic cup competition, establishing himself as a key player for Manchester United.

Mainoo was instrumental in the FA Cup final against Manchester City on May 25, where he scored a crucial equalizer with a well-taken shot. His goal helped Manchester United secure a 2-1 victory, clinching the FA Cup title.

With two goals in six appearances and consistently outstanding performances, Mainoo earned the prestigious FA Cup Player of the Season award.

Currently, the 19-year-old is with the England national team, preparing to feature for the Three Lions at the 2024 European Championship.

With its rich football history and cultural attractions, Toronto provides the perfect setting for this exciting adventure.

The Tarkwa-based football club will arrive in Toronto on October 2 for the tour, which will run through October 9, 2024.
