Al Ahly’s gaffer, Marcel Koller in the wake of The Red Devils’ 3-0 win against Medeama has revealed how they improved dramatically in the second half against Medeama.
After the 3-0 win over Medeama, the 63-year-old Swiss coach said, ” We started the game well and created many chances but did not score goals”.
He continued, “We allowed the opponents to create chances due to our haste, but we improved in the second half and achieved victory’.
Al Ahly suddenly became Al Ahly in the second half after a poor first half in their CCL opener against Medeama.
Three second-half goals from Kahraba (66th), El Shahat Hussein (75th) and Salah Mohsen (88th) consigned the Ghanaian debutants to their first-ever defeat in the money zone of the CAF Champions League.
