Italian-Ghanaian forward Martin Boakye is on the verge of completing a move to Tunisian giants Esperance Tunis, according to Nessma Sport.

The 30-year-old striker, who joined Thai club Buriram United earlier this year in January, has now touched down in Tunis to hold final talks with the club’s president. If successful, the deal would mark Boakye’s return to African football.

Boakye brings with him years of experience from European and Asian leagues and is expected to add strength and depth to Esperance’s attack ahead of the upcoming season.

His versatility and eye for goal make him a valuable target for the Tunisian side, who continue to strengthen their squad for both domestic and continental competitions.

More details are expected to follow as the final stages of the negotiation are concluded.
