Match officials named for key Ghana Premier League fixtures on March 8

Match officials have been announced for several crucial Ghana Premier League fixtures scheduled for Sunday, March 8, 2026, as clubs prepare for another exciting round of matches across various venues in the country.

For the clash involving Aduana FC and Eleven Wonders at the Nana Agyemang Badu I Park, Alex Amoabeng will serve as the centre referee. He will be assisted by Abraham Partey and Haruna Yakubu, while Nana Kofi Amoah takes charge as the fourth referee. Mohammed Alhassan will act as the match commissioner, with Ampaabeng Vincent serving as the venue media officer.

At the Aliu Mahama Sports Stadium, Prince Okoto Ntiamoah will officiate the highly anticipated encounter between Karela United and Asante Kotoko. He will be supported by assistant referees Richard Nartey and Joshua Agbo. Ayaaba Ibrahim has been appointed as the fourth referee, while James Mornah will serve as the match commissioner. Sey Mubarik will handle duties as the venue media officer.

In Wenchi, Robert Musey will officiate the match between Young Apostles and Goldstars at the Wenchi Sports Complex. Kofi Nyarko Bakae and Micheal Alugmi have been assigned as assistant referees for the match. Mohammed Misbaou will perform duties as the fourth referee, with Kwasi Asante working as the match commissioner. Abdul Mumin has been named as the venue media officer.

Meanwhile, Maxwell Hanson will take charge of the game between Medeama SC and Hohoe United at the TnA Stadium. He will be assisted by Alex Osam and Tijani Mohammed on the lines, while Laud Nettey will serve as the fourth referee. William Quaye will oversee the match as commissioner, with Richard Baffour Nkrumah handling responsibilities as the venue media officer.

At the Kpando Stadium, Hassim Yakubu will officiate the fixture involving Heart of Lions and Swedru All Blacks. He will be assisted by Ali Timuah and Sulemanna Salau Deen. Rustum Gameli Senorgbe has been appointed as the fourth referee, while Ali Plato will serve as the match commissioner. Eric Eli Adzie will take up the role of venue media officer for the game.

In another scheduled fixture, Gabriel Opoku Arhin will officiate as referee, with George A. Akisiboka and Halilu Alhassan serving as assistant referees. Adaari Abdul Latif will take charge as the fourth referee, while Micheal Ayeh will serve as the match commissioner. Sena Richards has been appointed as the venue media officer, with coverage of the match to be handled live by the GFA cameraman.

The appointments form part of efforts to ensure fairness, professionalism, and smooth organization of matches as the Ghana Premier League season continues.
