Dreams FC affirmed their dominance in the CAF Confederation Cup group stage with a noteworthy away win against Angolan side Academica Do Lobito, solidifying their position in the competition.
Building on last week’s triumph over Nigeria’s Rivers United, Dreams FC extended their winning streak with a 3-2 victory at the Estádio 11 de Novembro in Luanda.
The Ghanaian debutants now stand at six points, placing them alongside Tunisian side Club Africain and Rivers United in the group. The thrilling encounter unfolded with Dreams FC taking an early lead in the 10th minute, courtesy of Abdul Aziz Issah’s brilliant effort. Despite Academica Do Lobito’s Joao Valonga Basilio Barros quickly equalizing, Dreams FC regained control.
