Hearts of Oak defeated Na God FC, a Division One team, 3-2 in a friendly match at the Pobiman Sports Complex on Saturday, as they prepare for their upcoming Gameweek 26 betPawa Premier League fixture against Nsoatreman.
David Ocloo’s side dominated the game and took an early lead with a goal from Suraj Seidu in the first ten minutes. Despite creating more chances, they failed to increase their lead and went into halftime with a 1-0 advantage.
In the second half, Ocloo made several changes, bringing on Richmond Ayi, Samuel Inkoom, Zakari Yakubu, Francis Adjetey, Amankwah Baafi, Linda Mtange, Kwadwo Obeng Jnr, Victor Aidoo, and Albert Dieudonne.
Hearts of Oak doubled their lead through Linda Mtange, who headed in a cross from Amankwah Baafi. However, Na God FC fought back with two quick goals to level the score.
In the late stages of the game, Linda Mtange completed his brace, securing a 3-2 victory for Hearts of Oak.
The win follows a goalless draw against Dreams FC in their previous league match, and Hearts of Oak are eager to get back to winning ways in the betPawa Premier League with their upcoming match against Nsoatreman.
