Former Executive Council member of the Ghana Football Association (GFA), Sammy Anim Addo, has predicted that young talent Matthew Anim Cudjoe is on the verge of joining the Black Stars.
He believes that if Cudjoe is placed in the right environment with the proper support structures, he will soon make the national team.
In an interview with Luv FM, Anim Addo drew a comparison between Cudjoe and Mohammed Kudus, highlighting Cudjoe’s exceptional abilities. “The boy’s talent is beyond normal. If you look at Mohammed Kudus in the Black Stars, my son is the only one in Ghana who possesses those qualities,” he said.
“If we provide him with the right opportunity, environment, and structure, Matthew should at least be part of the Black Stars squad as a bench player.”
He further emphasized Cudjoe’s potential impact, noting, “When Kudus is not performing at his best and needs to be substituted, Matthew is the player we should consider because he shares all the qualities Kudus has. Matthew is fearless, and it’s rare to find young players with that mentality and courage. We need to utilize such talent.”
In response to the praise, Matthew Anim Cudjoe has expressed his readiness to seize any opportunity to represent the Black Stars.
