Maxwell Konadu is reportedly on the verge of joining a South African football club after a successful stint with Nsoatreman FC in the Ghana Premier League.
Konadu led the Bono-based side to a 5th place finish in their second season in the top flight league and even won the regional title to qualify for the 2024/25 CAF Confederations Cup.
After guiding Nsoatreman FC to a fairytale run in the Ghana Premier League, Konadu is set to bid farewell to the club and join a South African outfit, bringing an end to his tenure as the head coach of the team.
The news comes ahead of the draw for the CAF Confederations Cup, which will take place later this month and will determine Nsoatreman FC’s opponents in the preliminary stage.
Konadu’s departure marks an end to an era at Nsoatreman FC, but his legacy will live on after leading the team to their first-ever Ghana Premier League finish in the top five.
The former Black Stars manager also has experience of winning the Ghana Premier League with Asante Kotoko SC during his time as their head coach.
