Ghanaian defender Maxwell Woledzi has emerged champion of the Norwegian first division league after Fredrikstad were guaranteed a top spot finished.
Fredrikstad, who had already qualified for the top flight league with four games to spare, topped it up with the title win over the weekend.
Fredrikstad went into the weekend’s game against Moss FK needing just a point to wrap up the league title.
Woledzi was deployed as a midfielder in the game as his side fought to claim a 2-2 draw away from home and seal the league title.
Fredrikstad are guaranteed to finish above KFUM Oslo who are in second place with the last round of game to go.
Woledzi joined the club in the summer after leaving Portuguese side Vitoria Guimaraes.
