Medeama boss Evans Adotey describes Nurudeen Abdulai as ‘perfect’ replacement for Vincent Atinga

Medeama SC’s head coach, Evans Adotey, believes that young defender Nurudeen Abdulai has seamlessly filled the void left by the departure of Vincent Atinga.

The 19-year-old player took on the role previously occupied by the experienced Atinga, who chose not to renew his contract and left the club.

Adotey expressed his perspective, stating, “I said the other time when we met at the pre-match press conference that if Vincent Atinga is not there, we need a replacement.”

He added, “I am a coach who always wants to create competition within the team and among the players. So, if Atinga is gone, definitely there is somebody who will step into his shoes, and you saw it did happen today.”
