Head coach of Medeama SC, Ibrahim Tanko, is now fully focused on his team’s upcoming fixture against Dreams FC, set for Friday, April 11.
Medeama suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat to Hearts of Oak in their matchday 26 encounter at the Accra Sports Stadium. Despite the setback, Tanko remains optimistic as he prepares his squad for their next challenge.
“I think that we are going to approach the game like the way we are approaching our games,” he told the club’s official website. “And when you look at the goals we conceded, it’s a mistake from us and that is what we have been working on at training.”
Tanko is hopeful that fans will be treated to a better performance on Friday, saying, “So I am sure when they [fans] come on Friday, they will have their peace to watch the game and hopefully they will go back with happiness.”
Medeama SC, who have won the FA Cup twice, currently occupy 7th place on the Ghana Premier League table with 38 points from 25 matches.
