Moses Armah Parker, bankroller of Medeama Sporting Club, has explained that the decision to bring in Sudanese national team goalkeeper Monged Abuzaud Salman is aimed at creating strong competition within the team.
Mr. Armah Parker said the club wants to improve competition in key areas of the squad, particularly the goalkeeping department, despite the availability and fitness of Felix Kyei.
He explained that having quality options in every position will push players to improve their performance and help the team maintain high standards throughout the season.
According to the Medeama owner, the arrival of the Sudanese shot-stopper is part of the club’s strategy to build a competitive squad capable of challenging on all fronts.
He stressed that healthy competition among goalkeepers and other players will benefit the team as everyone fights for a place in the starting lineup.
“We want top competition in some of our positions especially the goalkeeping aspect”.
