Medeama’s in-form goalkeeper, Felix Kyei, has compared himself to Real Madrid’s Thibaut Courtois.
The 20-year-old is currently having an exceptional season with the Yellow and Mauves, who are presently second on the Ghana Premier League table after 26 matches.
Kyei is regarded as one of the best goalkeepers in the current domestic top-flight campaign, having kept the most clean sheets.
He maintained a clean sheet in Medeama’s 1-0 victory over Karela United at the Akoon Community Park on Sunday.
After the game, Kyei stated that he possesses some of the attributes of the Belgian and Real Madrid star goalkeeper.
“They usually call me Courtois; I didn’t give myself the nickname. Yes, because he is one of the best goalkeepers in the world,” Kyei responded when asked if he has Courtois’ qualities.
