Ghana PPremier League side Medeama SC paid a courtesy visit to the speaker of Parliament Alban Bagbin on Wednesday June 21, 2023.
The Tarkwa-based club won the 2022-23 Ghana Premier League title on the final day with home win against Tamale City FC at the Akoon Park in Tarkwa to lift their first ever trophy.
The newly crowned Ghana Premier League giants were led by the Ghana Football Association president Kurt Okraku,Ghana Football Association Executive Council member who also serves on the Medeama board of directors Dr Tony Aubynn.
Club President Mr. Moses Armah Parker, as well as Hon. George Mireku Duker, the Member of Parliament for Tarkwa Nsuaem were all present at the Parliament House in Accra to present the trophy to the speaker.
Medeama SC will represent Ghana in the CAF Champions League prelims after winning the Ghana Premier League trophy.
