Medeama SC set up a 10-member planning committee for their 2023/24 CAF Champions League campaign

Medeama SC, the champions of the Ghana Premier League, have established a strategic committee along with specialized subcommittees to oversee their journey in the CAF Champions League.

Having secured the 2022/23 Ghana Premier League title with 60 points from 34 games, Medeama celebrated their triumph by defeating Tamale City on the final weekend of the league at Akoon Park on Sunday, June 11.

To ensure a well-organized campaign, a planning committee consisting of 10 individuals has been formed.

Additionally, five subcommittees have been created to handle specific areas of responsibility. These subcommittees are Ticketing, Safety and Security, Communication, Marketing and Promotions, Protocol and Operations, and Finance and Sponsorship.

The co-chairs of the 10-member planning committee are President Moses Armah and Hon. George Mireku Duker, the Member of Parliament for Tarkwa Nsuaem and Deputy Minister of Lands and Natural Resources.

The committee includes Dr Anthony Aubynn, Emmanuel Larbi Amoah, Joseph Cobbinah, James Essilfie, Kojo Allah, Joseph Tetteh Zutah, Augustine Evans Adotey, and Dr Baffour Kwarteng.

Hon. George Mireku Duker will lead the Finance and Sponsorship subcommittee, which also includes President Moses Armah, James Essilfie, and Nana Kofi Abokye II.

The Protocol and Operations subcommittee, chaired by Board member James Essilfie, comprises Alfred Kojo Owusu, Joseph Tetteh Zutah, John Justice Abban, Frank Oppong, Jones Nana Ntsiful, Oscar Bentsi Enchill, Anthony Ellion, James Mosie Kwodjoe, and Eric Owusu Agyemang.

Vice-president Rose Linnet Osei-Bonsu will chair the Ticketing, Safety, and Security Committee, which consists of Samuel Sackey, Vincent Danquah, Nelson Agyapong, Richard Kwabena Boison, David Nii Nortey, and Dr Aseti Mark Wepare.

Patrick Akoto will head the Communication Committee, which includes James Bawa Anderson, Bismark Karikari, Jawad Madugu Ango, and Nana Effah Asare.

Ebenezer Aidoo will chair the Marketing and Promotion subcommittee, joined by Benjamin Graham, Robert Adjei, Millicent Arthur, and Akwasi Afriyie.
