Ghana Premier League champions, Medeama SC has identified Richmond Lamptey, a talented midfielder from Asante Kotoko, as their primary target for the upcoming season, aiming to strengthen their squad.

With ambitions of enhancing their midfield, the Yellow and Mauves are determined to secure the services of the Porcupine Warriors’ star player.

Medeama FC is actively scouting for top-quality players to bolster their squad for domestic and international competitions in the upcoming season. As the reigning champions of Ghana, they will participate in the CAF Champions League in the next season.

Reports from Kessben FM suggest that Medeama’s coach, Evans Adotey, holds a great admiration for Lamptey, who previously played for Inter Allies. Adotey is keen on adding Lamptey to their team, acknowledging his potential and considering him a valuable asset.

Lamptey, currently 26 years old, has a contract with Asante Kotoko that is set to expire next year. Since Kotoko has not initiated talks for an extension, Medeama FC is confident in their ability to secure his services.
