Rospak FC, the U20 side of Medeama SC, secured their promotion to the Ghana National Division One League with an impressive 3-0 win over Team Move FC in the western region’s Super Middle League final on Sunday.
The young talents of the Ghana Premier League champions displayed their prowess on the field, with substitute Rashid Yussif making a significant impact by scoring two goals. The first goal came from Michael Akuokuo in the first half, as he unleashed a powerful 25-yard shot that left keeper Evans Blay with no chance.
In the second half, Rashid Yussif entered the game from the bench and swiftly added to Rospak FC’s lead with a skillful finish over Mustapha Prah. He capitalized on a defensive mistake and calmly slotted the ball into the net from close range, silencing the home supporters.
With the match firmly in their control, Rospak FC sealed their victory with a splendid volley from Rashid Yussif, sending the ball into the top right corner of the net.
The convincing 3-0 win secured their promotion to the prestigious Ghana National Division One League, signaling the promising future of these young talents from Tarkwa.
