Ex-Asante Kotoko midfielder, Michael Akuffu, has commended the inclusion of former Ghana coach, Kwasi Appiah, in the club’s Interim Management Committee (IMC).
This move is part of the club patron, Otumfour Osei Tutu II’s efforts to guide Kotoko’s trajectory over the upcoming years.
In an interview with Radio Gold Sports, Akuffu expressed his views on the matter, stating, “His inclusion is very massive for the club looking at his experience and where he has been through football“
“His career from Asante Kotoko to coaching the national team, I mean coaching the national team“
Akuffo continued, “I think it is a good thing for the club and a good thing for coach Prosper Narteh Ogum where he will have a free hand to work and also share technical ideas with Kwasi Appiah”
“This is a good thing and I am very happy that the former players are getting closer to the club to help the club get back to its glory days,” Michael Akuffu ended.
Kwasi Appiah serves as a technical director of the club.
