Michael Ampadu, the talented right-back, has successfully undergone his medical examination in anticipation of his imminent transfer to Hearts of Oak during the ongoing transfer window.
Pending agreement on personal terms between the player and the club, the defender from the Black Galaxies is set to commit to a three-year contract with the club based in the capital.
As initially disclosed by Sportsworldghana during the past weekend, Ampadu is in advanced discussions with the Phobians to finalize personal terms and formalize the contractual agreement.
With approximately 70 percent of the deal already settled, as indicated by Mohammed Shaban, the signing is well on its way.
Following his nearly three-year tenure with Legon Cities, Ampadu parted ways with the club. Having joined the Ghana Premier League side in October 2020 from Liberty Professionals, he quickly established himself as an integral component of the team.
The remaining formalities are expected to be concluded within this week, following Ampadu’s completion of medical assessments in Accra on Tuesday afternoon.
