Michael Osei Is Rather Pleading For Mutual Termination Of Contract – Kotoko Asante Kotoko has indicated ex assistant coach of the club Michael Osei Michael Osei has written to the club asking for his relationship with the Kumasi club to be mutually terminated.
The former assistant was reassigned to the youth team of the club after Kotoko appointed new head coach Zdravco Lugarusic a fortnight ago. Following his demotion, Michael has indicated no readiness picking up his new role thus rejecting the offer by the club.
Michael has subsequently written to the management of Kotoko demanding GHS 110,000 from Kotoko after not showing any sign to continue working with the club but Asante Kotoko revealed through the club’s newspaper stating the ex coach is however asking for a mutual termination of his relationship with the club.
“Apart from Management’s objective of restructuring of the Technical Team and the building of the Youth Team, the decision to reassign Michael Osei was premised on clause 3 (2) of the coach’s contract. Michael Osei indicated that, he had a different understanding of what the clause directing him to be the Technical Director of the Youth Team and as a result he couldn’t accept the offer.
He’s therefore asking for a mutual termination of his relationship with Kotoko, arguing that, it would serve his interest and that of the club” The official mouthpiece of the club revealed.
