Micheal Osei on 20th November 2023 mutually agreed to take a short leave of absence for Bibiani Gold Stars to address the challenges they were facing after seven winless games.
The 52-year-old has been with the Bibiani-based club since they gained promotion to the Ghana Premier League in the 2021-22 season.
In a thank you message to the Bibiani Gold Stars fraternity, Micheal wrote, ” I am grateful to be part of such an incredible group and want to express my sincere gratitude to the management of the team, especially the club president, CEO, Mensin Gold Bibiani Limited, Technical team, playing body, supporters union and the entire Bibiani populace for their hard work and dedication towards me and the team. Your efforts made a significant impact and it shows”.
He continued, “Each team member was valuable in their collaborative support and commitment.
“Your advice and words of encouragement have always pushed me to the heights that I had never imagined in my life. You all helped in improve my performance on the field and I’m grateful for such a kind gesture”.
Godwin Ablordey took charge of Bibiani Gold Stars’ last 3 games as an interim manager. Frimpong Manso has been appointed as the new coach of Bibiani Gold Stars to help steer them out of the relegation zone.
