Ajax have reportedly given deadline to Ghana midfielder Mohammed Kudus to reach an agreement with English Premier League side Brighton within 48 hours to finally formalize his transfer.
The Ghanaian star will have to stay and will only be sold for a huge fee if he fails to comply to the club’s decision in the next two days, @VI_nl reports.
The Dutch giants want clarity about the transfer within 48 hours, otherwise Kudus must stay and he can only leave if mega amounts are put on the table.
Our outfit, however, understands that Kudus Kudus is aiming for a transfer, that much is clear. Like Brighton, Chelsea were also interested in him, but the former club is in pole position, for the time being and could soon arrive in the UK to finalize the move ahead of the start of the 2023/23 season.
The 23-year-old midfielder’s time in Amsterdam has been nothing short of impressive, amassing a total of 16 goals across 63 appearances in the Eredivisie.
As the clock ticks on the 48-hour ultimatum, fans and football enthusiasts alike await with bated breath to see how the transfer saga unfolds and whether Kudus will make his way to Brighton or remain a key asset for Ajax.
