Ghana international Salis Abdul Samed has picked Mohammed Kudus and Kamaldeen Sulemana as they two players who could lead the Black Stars to laurels in the near future.
While Kudus took the world by storm in Qatar after scoring two goals and providing an assist in Ghana’s group stage exit at the 2022 FIFA World Cup, Kamaldeen only showed his quality in the defeat to Uruguay in the last game.
But Abdul Samed, who was revelation for the Black Stars at the Mundial, is optimistic the two players are well-placed to lead Ghana to glory in the next few years.
“The guys that will take us to the next level? Kudus, I think he will be a big star to me. His qualities are different from all of us,” Abdul Samed told 3 Sports.
“I think Kamaldeen Sulemana if he gets more chance to play, he’s a top player because I’ve already played against him in Ligue 1 so many times last season.
“I think that guy is very, very good and he’ll be a big star. To me, if he works and gets more time to play, less injuries, he’ll be a top player.”
Despite boasting a relatively promising squad at the tournament, Ghana could not advance past the group stage as they suffered two defeats and one once in Group H, which also had Portugal, South Korea and Uruguay.
