Dutch football legend Marco van Basten has expressed his preference for Ghanaian star Mohammed Kudus over former Ajax winger Antony, who now plays for Manchester United.
According to van Basten, while Antony may have superior speed, he believes Kudus is a more skilled and intelligent player.
In a recent interview, he stated, “I find Kudus a much better football player.
“He has much better technique and knows what he’s doing. Antony may be faster, but Kudus is smarter and more technical,” Van Basten said in a recent interview while comparing the two youngsters.
Van Basten further praised Kudus for his versatility, saying, “He is much more of a footballer and more fun to watch, you can place him anywhere on the pitch.”
Earlier, there were speculations linking Mohammed Kudus with a potential move to Manchester United alongside Antony. However, it seems the rumors have subsided, and it is likely that the talented Black Stars forward will continue to ply his trade at Ajax.
