Former Black Stars captain Andre Ayew believes Mohammed Kudus has all the qualities needed to play for Europe’s elite clubs, insisting the Ghana international is capable of thriving at the highest level.
Kudus enjoyed two outstanding seasons at West Ham United following his move from Ajax before joining Tottenham Hotspur. However, recurring injuries have slowed his progress and also forced him to miss Ghana’s 2026 FIFA World Cup campaign.
Speaking on the Obi One Podcast with former Chelsea midfielder John Mikel Obi, Ayew expressed his admiration for the 25-year-old’s talent.
“He’s got everything to be at the top,” Ayew said.
The former Marseille and Swansea City forward, who played alongside Kudus at the 2022 FIFA World Cup and the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations, believes the midfielder has the quality to represent any of Europe’s biggest clubs.
“In my opinion, he is good enough to be in clubs like Man City, Liverpool, Arsenal, etc.,” Ayew added.
Ayew also urged Kudus not to rush his comeback from injury, encouraging the Tottenham star to focus on a full recovery before returning to competitive action.
Kudus is currently in the final stages of his rehabilitation and is expected to return to full fitness in the coming weeks as he looks to resume his impressive rise in European football.
