Tottenham midfielder Mohammed Kudus has travelled to Amsterdam to consult a trusted medical specialist as he continues his recovery from a hamstring injury sustained in January. The Ghana international has been sidelined since limping off during Spurs’ clash against Sunderland and has missed the club’s last nine matches.
Kudus reportedly sought permission from Tottenham Hotspur to see the same specialist who helped him recover from a knee injury during his time at Ajax in 2020. The £55 million summer signing from West Ham United had made a bright start to life at Spurs before injuries disrupted his momentum.
The 25-year-old is aiming to return to full training after the March international break. His progress is also being closely followed in Ghana, with the national team monitoring his fitness ahead of the upcoming World Cup, where the Black Stars are set to face England national football team in the group stage.
Tottenham’s medical team remains in constant contact with specialists in Amsterdam, and Kudus is said to be responding positively to treatment as he works towards a strong comeback under a new manager following the departure of Thomas Frank.
