Ghana international Mohammed Kudus grabbed the headlines once again after scoring in Ajax’s opening game of the 2023/24 Eredivisie season.
The Ghanaian was on target in the 4-1 win at home as Ajax came from behind to beat Heracles Almelo.
Kudus played 90 minutes of the game but it was his second-half performance that saw him get on the lips of everyone.
The attacking midfielder gave Ajax the deserved lead in the 75th minute after being located with a long ball by Benjamin Tahirovic.
Kudus was then fouled in the additional time with the referee pointing to the penalty spot to award Ajax a penalty which was eventually converted by Steven Bergwjin.
Kudus has been heavily linked with a move away from Ajax but continues to impress while he is still at the club.
