Black Stars starboy Mohammed Kudus registered yet another goal for Ajax as they came back from a first-half deficit to beat RKC Waalwijk.
After scoring in the Dutch Cup match in the middle of the week, the 22-year-old increased his season total as John Heitinga’s team won 3-1 at home.
With just nine minutes until full-time, Kudus registered his name on the scoresheet, latching onto a cross from Steven Berghuis to wrap up the win before going off in additional time.
Ajax only mustered one attempt on target in the first half until Mats Seuntjens gave the opposition the lead in the game’s 17th minute.
After the break, Heitinga’s team played differently than they had in the first half, and Brian Brobbey came off the bench to give Ajax the equaliser.
After 78 minutes of play at the Johan Cruijff Arena, Jurrien Timber, who was a fellow replacement, was put up by Calvin Bassey, giving Ajax a 2-1 advantage.
Kudus was the Man of the Match after the game.
