Ghana international Mohammed Salisu will undergo medicals on Monday, July 31 in order to complete his move to AS Monaco during the current transfer window.
The Black Stars defender joins the Ligue 1 club from Southampton in a 15 million Euro deal. Salisu replaces Axel Disasi, who left the club to join Premier League giants Chelsea.
Before putting ink to paper, the 24-year-old must pass a necessary medical test as part of the contract signing process.
The Ghanaian has a year left on his current contract at St Mary’s Stadium but is expected to go to France this summer.
Fulham, who chose Calvin Bassey from Ajax over Salisu, had previously expressed interest in the player.
As he nears the conclusion of his contract, the 24-year-old was left out of Southampton’s pre-season friendly against AZ Alkmaar on Saturday and Bournemouth on Tuesday.
