Sudanese giants Al Hilal has loaned Ghanaian footballers Seidu Basit and David Abagna to Moldova Club, FC Petrocub Hîncești for one year as part of the partnership agreement signed between both clubs recently.
David Abagna joined Al Hilal from Real Tamale United in 2023 after impressing with the Tamale-based club in a huge deal that RTU benefited financially. Abagna was regular in the CAF Champions League for Al Hilal in the 2022-2023 season but has not been enjoying many minutes in the ongoing season.
20-year-old Ghanaian striker Abdul Basit who joined Al Hilal Oumdurman after a wonderful campaign for Accra Lions in the 2022/23 season has also been loaned out to FC Petrocub Hincesti in Moldova.
A partnership deal was agreed recently between Al Hilal of Sudan and Petrocub Hincesti of Moldova so we should expect more of such transfers between the two clubs.
Former Asante Kotoko C.E.O Nana Yaw Amponsah has been appointed as the new president of the Moldovan club, FC Petrocub Hincesti.
