Asante Kotoko staged a thrilling comeback to beat Future Stars FC 2-1 and progress to the next round of the FA Cup on Wednesday at Ejisu Park.

The Porcupine Warriors struggled in the first half, falling behind to a strike from Joel Agbovi, giving the Division Two side a surprising lead at halftime.

Kotoko came out stronger in the second half, with Hubert Gyau equalising before Peter Amidu Acquah scored a late winner, securing victory for the defending champions.

With the win, Kotoko advance to the Round of 32, with their next opponents set to be revealed on Tuesday, December 16. Matches for that stage are scheduled between December 30 and January 1, 2026.
