Kumasi Asante Kotoko SC took the lead through an own goal in the first half of the match after 17 minutes of the match to send the home fans into ecstacy.

The Division Two League played very well in the second half of the match and finally found the back of the net around the 70th minute mark to restore parity.

Deep into additional time period of the match, defender, Maxwell Agyemang rose to the occasion to score a last-gasp winner for the Porcupine Warriors to seal through.
