At the Theatre of Dreams in Dawu, it was business as usual for Karim Zito’s free-scoring Dreams FC as they pulverised Koforidua Semper Fl 4-1 to book a place in the final 8 of the MTN FA Cup.
The defending champions got off to a wonderful start after forcing Koforidua Semper Fl to score an own goal in the 6th minute.
Star boy Aziz Issah doubled Dreams’ lead in the 34th minute to put the host in a commanding lead. The first half ended 2-0 for the Still Believe.
In the second half, Dreams FC continued with the same intensity they played with in the first half with Agyenim Boateng scoring to make it 3-0 to end the away side’s dream of making it to the quarter-finals in the 60th minute.
Sylvester Simba made it 4-0 with just six minutes from time. Ebenezer Kobia scored a consolation goal for Koforidua Semper Fl to make it 4-1 in favour of the defending champions, Dream FC.
