MTN FA Cup Round of 32 : All you need to know as Karela play King Faisal again in Kumasi

The Round of 32 matches of the MTN FA cup competition will be played between 18 to 23rd January 2022 with some exciting fixtures to look out for.

Defending Champions, Accra Hearts of Oak will host Division One league debutants Golden Kicks FC at the Accra Sports Stadium. The holders kicked out Accra lions at the Dansoman Stadium by a lone goal. Debutants Golden kicks FC put up an impressive performance in the round of 64 to kick out Accra City Stars on penalties.

King Faisal who knocked out regional rivals, Asante Kotoko in the round of 64 fixture will get a chance to avenge last weekend’s defeat to Karela United in the Ghana Premier League.

Karela United eliminated two times champions of the F.A cup, Medeama SC. Faisal lost at home to Karela in the Ghana Premier League and they will be eager for a revenge.

There will be another all Premier league tie when Bibiani Gold Stars come up against Bechem United at the Dun’s park.

The topflight sides always face tricky duels when they come up against the teams from the lower tier sides and it won’t be different when Real Tamale United host Wa Suntaa at the Aliu Mahama sports stadium.

Division one side, Nania FC who lie bottom of the division one zone three will welcome top tier side, Dreams FC at the Nania Park in Legon.

Asokwa Deportivo will also host second tier side Kumawuman FC at the Okese park in Ejisu.

Premier league side, Legon cities will travel to the Tema sports stadium to play Real Athletico FC. Legon Cities.

Division one zone three leaders, Tamale city will play bottom of the zone, Bolga All-stars at the Wale Wale Astro turf.

Hearts of lions who progressed to the round of 32 after piping WAFA by 4 goals to 3 on penalties will host Vision FC at the Kpando Stadium.

Kotoku Royals FC will come up against fellow zone three opponents, Akatsi All Stars at the WAFA park in Sogakope.

The Golden City park in Berekum will host the fixture between Berekum Chelsea and Bofoakwa Tano.
