Skyy FC on Sunday afternoon defeated Ebusua Dwarfs 1-0 in Daboase to secure a place in the semifinal of the 2022/23 MTN FA Cup.
The home side dominated the game from the start and scored in the second minute of the game through Eric Antwi Konadu. Dwarfs only came close to scoring in the 67th minute when a feeble a header straight into the hands of the Skyy FC goalkeeper.
In the second half, both sides displayed some good football. However, big chances were hard to come by.
In the remaining minutes of the game, Dwarfs dominated the game and created some good chances but the Skyy FC defense stayed resilient to win 1-0 and secure a place in the semifinal for the second consecutive time.
Skyy FC will now face Dreams FC in the semifinal to be played later this month.
