Muangthong United FC has officially signed Ghanaian midfielder Richmond Darko, as they gear up for the 2025–26 Thai League 1 season.
The 22‑year‑old impressed during his time with Ghana Premier League side FC Samartex 1996 and now brings his energy and midfield dynamism to the Thunder Dome Stadium .
Darko featured in 22 matches across all competitions last season, including appearances in the prestigious CAF Champions League. His performances showcased not only his stamina and composure but also his ability to influence tempo in the midfield—a quality that aligns with Muangthong’s ambitions of reclaiming dominance in Thai football and making an impact on the Asian stage .
