Ghanaian midfielder Mubarak Wakaso has joined KAS Eupen on a season-long loan deal from FC Shenzhen.
The 32-year-old was without football action for a while and fans wondered whether he was suited for Black Stars call-ups earlier this year.
Now the former Villarreal man has joined Manaf Nurudeen in Eupen as he steps up preparations to get ready for the 2022 FIFA World Cup in Qatar.
He has had a wealth of experience at some of the biggest clubs in Europe, representing Granada, Villarreal and Espanyol among others.
Wakaso has made 65 appearances for the Black Stars so far, scoring 13 goals.
