Medeama SC defender Kofi Asmah has shared his thoughts on his debut in continental competition with the Mauve and Yellow.
Asmah is experiencing the CAF Champions League for the first time as Medeama advances through the preliminary rounds.
He was part of the team that secured a 3-1 victory against Guinea’s Horoya Athletic Club in the first leg of the second preliminary round, held at the Cape Coast Stadium.
Reflecting on his performance, Kofi Asmah mentioned, “This is my first time of playing in the Africa competition but the coaches motivated me to replicate my league form in the continental games.
He continued, saying, “The coaches told me that my performance in the league can be replicated against Horoya AC. So it is the coaches who motivated to give off my best performance,” he ended.
