Asante Kotoko midfielder Justice Blay is eager to bounce back from a disappointing season marred by injuries and make a meaningful impact with the Porcupine Warriors in the upcoming campaign.
The 32-year-old midfielder, who has 99 appearances and 8 goals in the Ghana Premier League under his belt, is determined to rediscover his form and help Kotoko win the league title.
“I’m expecting the best of me next season. For now, my target is to help Kotoko win the league for Asanteman,” he said.
Blay’s season was hampered by injuries, which limited his playing time in the Ghana Premier League and FA Cup. However, he is looking forward to a fresh start and is already setting his sights on the upcoming campaign.
Asante Kotoko are currently preparing for the 2024/25 season, having already secured two wins in their preseason friendly games. The team will take on Medeama on Friday as part of the inauguration of the newly built TNA Park in Tarkwa.
Kotoko will begin their Premier League campaign against Karela United, and Blay is confident that his experience and determination will play a crucial role in the team’s success.
